Heard an unofficial EV Solo Tour song on the radio

Some radio station in NJ played Ed's rendition of "Growin' Up" from his Newark Solo show (I think). How was a radio station able to play this? Did they get it and play it illegally? Is this a hint that something official may be released soon? Anyone ever hear any of Ed's other tour songs on the radio?

    While I haven't heard the Holmdel version, I can say that this was just Ed and a guitar, no other band members. Sounded almost exactly like the Newark version (which I've heard dozens of times)

    The shows all kind of blur together now, but I'm almost positive that Ed was solo at the Holmdel show in 2003 when he covered Growin Up.

    There are some Ed songs available on gremmie for download, and some others that are from PJ shows but sound like Ed solo.

    I do pray, however, that someday he'll release Baltimore 2 from '09!

    They've done both. 2003 was when they played Growin' Up, at the show referenced in the above posts.

    The OP is referring to Ed's solo tour when he played Growin Up at the NJ Performing Arts Center in Newark in 2008.

    It was a PJ show, but I'm pretty sure the song was just Ed solo, to begin the first encore (I can't remember for sure, and can't listen to it right now). Did it sound like this one? If not, then it was the solo show, and they probably just played a bootleg version. I would love if it turned out to be a prelude to an official release, though.
