Sublime. The textures, the layered guitars and keyboards, the guitar tone, the vocals...it all fits together perfectly. Love these guys. I definitely need to see them again, last time I was in back of the stage.

    I'm seeing them for free at the end of July on the St. Louis Riverfront. Can't wait.

    I love SSPU. I work for CD101, a local radio station in Columbus, OH and we have a lot of bands come through and play in our 'big room' the afternoon before their shows. Had a chance to hang outside and chat with Brian Aubert. One of the nicest guys in music I have met. Real down to earth and cool. Not to mention he's got an awesome set of pipes.

    Saw them last week at the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, NJ. Awesome show, great crowd also which was kind of a surprise, would love for them to open for PJ at some point.

    Might as well start with their newest, Swoon. I think it's a little easier to get into compared to their debut.

    I am absolutely in love with this band right now. Have been spinning the hell out of their vinyl, and saw them last Sunday on Landsdowne St. in Boston. Caught a pick from Brian and scored a setlist. This is a band I've been into since radio stations started spinning Lazy Eye back in late 06/early 07, so seeing them live was huge! For noobs, check out Lazy Eye, Kissing Families, Little Lover's So Polite, Panic Switch and Substitution. If you happen to pick up Carnavas on vinyl, it comes with a free 7'' with 2 b-sides. Check out Table Scraps off that disc, that's my favorite right now.

    The just played in philly on Monday. Missed it though, trying to cut back on concerts/money. HEard it was a great show. Would eventually like to see them live.

    July 31st at the Paramount here in Seattle... locked in! Saw them live only once at Outside Lands in SF and they were feckin phenomenal.
