The End, Just Breath encore combo

Is anyone into this? I just feel like it is such a downer. its slowwwww and depressing. Its predictable. And overall they just arent that fun of songs to hear live. Love the tunes when im in the mood for that sort of melody, but song 18 of a concert who feels like hearing depressing slow songs?

    I hear what you're saying, with them being back-to-back, but I love "Just Breathe." Happy to hear it any time. It's an amazing tune. People will be begging to hear Backspacer songs a few years from now, just like Riot Act, Binaural, and Avacado.

    Very true. Its smart how they create their own demand for songs by only unleashing them for a year and then we only get to hear them once or twice a tour.

    i don't find it depressing but it is the one part of a pj show that has gotten to be predictable. but hey, that's ok. and in all honesty, the end really is an amazing song. personally though, i think speed of sound should get more play. but at the same time, like someone mentioned, there is gonna be such a demand for it in the coming years. it's kinda like backspacer's sleight of hand or something. fucking love the song.

    Dont like it at all....

    Im not that into any songs from Backspacer.... I was totally into them, but they got old quickly.

    The End/ JB is way to predictable for me. I would rather they do something like Parting Ways or Around the Bend or anything else for that matter.

    Think for one thing you have to remember that they basically toured over here last summer BEFORE Backspacer came out so we only got to hear The Fixer and Got Some, plus The End at Shepherds Bush and Supersonic at the O2. off the top of my head i think that's all the Backspacer stuff we got.

    TBH i'd have liked a couple more off of Backspacer in Dublin/Belfast/London but i'm certainly not tired of Just Breathe yet, and it's been getting a great reception.

    but yeah, maybe mix things up a bit more and not start the encores with it every night... ;)

    Love it. The End is so good I'd be happy to hear it any time. Just Breathe is aleady becoming a good sing along.

    One or the other would be preferred.

    I really like the idea of opening the 2nd set with a couple acoustic, ala the 06 tour. BUt I'd really like to see those encores be open to including a traditional "opener" like long road, sometime, of the girl, release.

    I think 4 quiet ones to start the encore before a couple loud ones into another encore break is ideal
