When Will Eddie Do Another Solo Tour

StillHereStillHere Posts: 7,795
edited July 2010 in The Porch
I'm getting that feeling again..U.S. leg of PJ tour is over and I find myself wanting more.
I've always wanted to see Ed's solo show and never have.
Anyone have any thoughts on when Ed will do a solo tour...
Hopefully East coast?
I do so want to do this.
Peace,
jo

The solo shows are such wonderful memories, some of the very best of my life
    San Diego
    Milwaukee
    Atl 1 & 2
I rediscovered Arc, a tearful reunion and I gave a standing ovation to Ed's Mom on her special day! I met the "uppers" one of the nicest funnest couples ever, too bad I was so hungover :( and many other great fans while enjoying great cities. Thanks to the 10C I had awesome seats. I was absolutely blown away with all of Ed's solo performances. He never ceases to amaze. I hope we get another chance to make more memories.
Great opener, Long Nights with the lights down, this time around?? 8-)

I really do feel like I've missed out on something special - I made a decision early this year that if he does another US solo tour, I'm gonna try and make it stateside (in case he doesn't make to Europe) - don't think I could pass up a 3rd solo tour

If Ed releases another solo album then there will be another tour but until then it is doubtful. I was lucky that I was able to see him 3 times solo. The shows were amazing!

  • The Chicago shows in 08 were an amazing 30th Bday party for me! Such a beautiful experience!

We were lucky enough to get the fouth row at the Opera House on the second night. The coolest thing was, before the show started, watching them bring people, from the back of the theater, up to the front row for a ticket upgrade. Talk about excited people, because they didn't tell them were they were taking them.

And yes, the show was amazing!

I thought both shows were awesome but Ed was in a bad mood the second night. I blame Sean Penn.

    Party On, Dudes!
  • Yeah, night two Wasn't as good because of that but still awesome!

    100% agree
although I think he made some nice coin on those solo tours
that might prompt him to go back out while he is writing new material
  • StillHereStillHere Posts: 7,795
There DOES seem to be new material...though, that's what I'm saying.

I would go to Europe in a heartbeat, or Australia, or anywhere...IF I was in a position to afford it.

I do so hope he finds time to do a show in the states in the coming year.

I would be so honored to be a little part of that.
    peace,

When is the new CD coming out??? This year or next?

I thought since Ed is busy this fall that there would be no more tour dates this year.
