It's like they're having some kind of friggin' contest... how long can we go without playing SEATTLE???? It's driving me crazy...
Who knows how long they can last, but I swear, I can't make it much longer. I want to come home to the Pacific Northwest for some ROCKIN' PEARL JAM SHOWS!!!
The Showbox, Benaroya... 2 nights, 3 nights.. 10 nights - I'M THERE!!
I'd also love to see them play Portland, and a 10c only show in the Emerald City would be THE BOMB!!!"Holly f**k, that was so amazing, I just forgot who I came here to see!!" - Courtesy of the guy in the U2 t-shirt standing next to me in Aloha Stadium, Post PJ0 -

Since the Gorge doesnt count as a Seattle show, its hard to remember whe the last tour PJ show was. That in it self is a reason I prey that they play here. The other reason is gas prices and airline ticket prices. Times are hard. Especially if you in the North West. Well at least the 60 or so % of the people would dont make the Medium income of 40,000 a year. I think thats about 20 dollars an hour. crap.........now i'm really depressed.0

Just adding my 2 cents here...I was at the Key for the Foo Fighters with Supergrass and Minus the Bear last night. The sound was great..lighting was cool...stage setup worked. BUT, the security and staff have gotten very anal there....it was almost like they were a nazi government regime. (A little extreme, i know..) At the key, you cannot bring a beer to your seat. The lines at the concessions and merch stands are unbelievably long and crowded so that you cannot walk through the hallways. And there is that 11:30 curfew that looms over all of security's heads..and the Foos played right up until and then the guards are yelling and screaming for people to get out...again, trying to push people through the crowded halls...not a big deal, but I can kind of see what Jeff meant during his radio interview last week when he said the Seattle Center/Key arena folks are difficult to work with. I also just read a quote from the Sub Pop Presidents that they tried to get their recent Festival to be in Seattle and not Redmond, but that the city of Seattle delayed and delayed their permit requests....so, I don't think it is all PJ saying "F You" to Seattle...I just think for them to put off a great rock show here with no worries of security or City government/Arena BS politics is simply not easy. We all know that PJ could do 5 nights at Qwest Field Football stadium and sell out every night...but would we really want that? Would the band for that matter? I'm being patient...I'm sure the band will take care of the locals here...as soon as they possibly can.I will not lose my Faith, it's an Inside job today....0
