    i think i've become full-blown allergic to strawberries...has been for the past couple years that just my lips would swell up when i ate some...but i ate like a ton the last few days and now i''ve broken out in hives all over too... :(


    damn... i'm not giving 'em up...i'll just take benadryl when i eat them from now on

    Sorry about your allergy... I hope benadryl will help you. I agree - I love strawberries, but I'm not allergic to them. Good luck. :D

    Did they really ??!!!!! I have a bottle filled with those pills in my cabinet, from last year. I'm hanging on to those, maybe they'll be worth something :lol:

    I don't even remember why I have them - my doctor was all to quick to write an RX - I was pretty surprised.

    thanks...the benadryl seems to be somewhat helping. it just bums me out cause i live on them and other fresh berries in the summertime. at least i still have other yummy fruits, though it looks like i won't be making any strawberry jam this year...

    bananas were easy to give up when i became allegic, but strawberries are gonna be a toughy for me cause i love them so :?


    now if the blue, rasp and blackberries decide to attack me too...all total hell will break loose ;)
