ok... so i'm on disc 2 from philly on 10/31 and this song absolutely rocks. anyone know more about it. :P

btw... the philly box set is UFB :D:lol::D

    It was originally just an improv I believe. Only done twice on the '94 tour. Then in 2009, a fan - a wealthy one apparently - offered to donate an undisclosed sum of money to charity if Pearl Jam would play it. And they obliged. Pretty cool.

    on the not for you single,what a fucking awesome track dont no why they dont play it often would be awesome in dublin or anywhere!we can only hope!

    It's a song I never really thought of ever possibly hearing. Just one of those obscure things. When I heard them start kicking into that in Philly, I almost crapped myself. Couldn't stop grinning.

    Now, every time I hear the opening bars kick in, I get this huge dopey grin on my face. Love that tune!

    I was lucky enough to hear this when they played it in Springfield, MA back in 94...That nights was my favorite of the three versions. There is a boot of that show floating around, definately worth checking out. Was nice to see this gem come back.

    a few of the words on the boot are hard to deciphere... thanks making it clear. it's kind of hard to sing a PJ song w/ autority when you're not quite sure if you got the right words.

    for sum reason... this particular PJ song... makes me feel really good about who i am. makes me think about how grateful i am compared to those w/ an ongoing alcohol/pill/chemical addiction that they can't overcome. i'm definately still... out of my mind... but in good ways... these days. life is good!

    Wish it could have been Fenway '16 but the fact that they played it is awesome. If I was there I would have been so freaking happy. Love the song. So jealous. Lucky bunch of Fenway fans!!!
