Dude you´re totally right, it´s really close to impossible, but if I have to pick just one, I´d have to go with live in atlanta - 4/3/94.
The intensity of the band, they are probably better musicians now, but I never heard so much intensity in a show! You can even hear the anger and desparation in ed´s voice, I think any pj fan should own this bootleg, imho!!

  • Torino 2006 amazes the hell out of me. Its amazing that the boys can play the whole album in order and be flawless. Its an incredible and awesome performance by the group. Tight, but not too focused where the raw energy isnt there, and Eds voice was spot on. Not only are all the songs from Avocado fantastic, but the versions of Go, Lukin, Blood, DTE, TREMOR CHRIST, Black, Indifference, and Jeremy are played maybe the best of that tour. The guys were on fire and really seemed to enjoy themselves.
My first PJ show to witness was at Bonnaroo. How is that for lucky?
  • Since everyone is going to have a different answer because of different connections with bootlegs, I'd like to add that all of the above are very good bootlegs. The best bootleg, however, is Seattle November 6,2000. It was the last show of the 2000 world tour and quite the finale.

The show clocks in at about 2 hours and 40 minutes and has a setlist that includes: Release, Rearviewmirror, In Hiding, Nothingman, Lukin into Not For You, Off He Goes dedicated to one person who passed away at Roskilde, Light Years, Parting Ways with "real" musicians, Immortality, Soon Forget, The Kids Are Alright and Baba O'Riley and the first time Alive was played since the Roskilde tragedy. Plus many, many others.
