anyone else find it strange that NEITHER of the songs is the full band? just an observation. Can't wait to spin it!

I think because they picked an EV solo song which doesn't include any other members, the next song doesn't include EV at all to balance things out. Just a thought :)

Well then, really, you add those two together and we have one full-band effort.. shouldn't we be receiving a third side?

So who's going to use their fancy record player to encode the tracks to some HQ Flac or MP3's so I can listen to this on my portable digital music box? The vinyl records just go into a nice little case for collecting purposes. I havent had a means to actually play the xmas singles for years.

I gotta ask, is this the 2010 annual single, or 2009? Did we get shafted for 2009, or are we going to get another one of these in 6 months?

a little too much for my thoughts to ponder

I think my membership was expired for a few days. I was waiting for the boots I wanted then did everything as 1 order today. Am I gonna get shafted b/c I wasn't a member when these shipped? I was a member for the full year and we're supposed to get these each year, right?

The guy on the back is Buttons Kaluhiokalani, one of the greatest Hawaiian surfers ever. The photo is by Jeff Divine at either Ala Moana or Kaisers on the South Shore of Oahu 1978. Buttons is the coolest dude you'd ever meet. This was in the original twin fin days. He's probably riding a Ben Aipa twin fin and pullin 360's when no one even considered doing those. Aloha!

Eddie and Mike are showing some real respect for the Hawaiians by putting Buttons on the sleeve of this 45. Keep surfing boys....Aloha!

F*ck me this is cool as shit. Usually, I'm the last to know on crap like this, and I just figured everybody would be like "yeah we got that 8 months ago". I'll get pics ASAP.

You might wanna change the thread title to indicate what showed up, too.
Yeah, or else no one really knows what the fuck this thread is really about.

How about a thread titled "2009 Christmas single - ARRIVED"? Oh wait, that is the thread I just created because there were no obvious threads yet about the 2009 Christmas single arriving!!!

Chill the fuck out dude, it's really not that big of a deal. If you're that worried about it, see if Kat will make you a moderator and you can change it yourself. It seems like quite a few people were able to figure it out without much problem, sorry you're late to the party.

Apparently it's the 2009 Single which we were supposed to receive by March 2010.
