I just have to say, STONED OWNED MSG. He was on fire both nights. Mankind on night I and he had more solos during night II than anytime I can remember. Loved every minute of it.

At both Newark and MSG2 i noticed Stone was ripping on those solos and really getting into it. The whole band were. They just keep getting better and better.

After seeing them 7 times in the last 7 months, LA3, LA4, Perth, Melbourne, Syndey, Newark and MSG2, I can't wait for their next Aussie tour - hope it wont be long.

Good to see you enjoyed yourself though...as i plan on doing in europe in a few weeks :)....i must ask though did you happen to catch band of horses at either of the shows? Highly contemplating going to see them in melbourne at the end of july after europe seeing as though they are skipping perth..

Stone impressed me more at the MSG shows than he ever has. I don't think he missed a note either show.

It was about 4 or 5 songs into MSG II and I was thinking damn, Stone has more solo's than Mike! He is the hub of the PJ wheel, no doubt about it.

I couldn't see him much at MSG but for Hartford we were front row right in front of Stone and it was incredibly cool to be up close to see him play. We cheered for him and he smiled at us.

My favorite Stone moment is always his solo during Do the Evolution... It's a perfect cross between face-melting and George Clinton funky style. He was really into it during the MSG shows (and Philly), that's for sure. I took my boy to MSGII (we hadn't been to a show together since Camden II in '98), and he was freaking out about Stone... Apparantly, the last time he saw PJ, he said Stone was just standing in the corner looking totally unenthused. MSG, however, he was en fuego and rocking the fuck out. I felt sorry for row 12 on the floor because Stone caused my boy to blow his load all over the people in front of us.
