What a great way to wake up on a beautiful Sunday morn

So I'm dead asleep, and I gradually begin to wake. I can hear music, not loud, but I could definitely hear it, and as my mind started to process the sound I could tell that it was Release. I could hear my 9 year old son doing to vocals to it on Rockband. You could tell he was trying to be quiet and not wake us up, but it was just loud enough. I know this may sound a bit stupid, but I had this overwhelming sense of pride. Hell I was as happy about that as I was seeing him score his first goal in soccer.LOL Out of the boat load of shit songs on Rockband, my son did a mini PJ concert just because he wanted to. As I type this, I can hear him playing Oceans. I don't know, it was just a really big deal to me and thought I'd share. Now I gotta go play some Rockband. :lol:

    I think thats really cool and can understand your joy. When I first heard my nephew belting out Pearl Jam on his piano I was so chuffed :D

    That's awesome. So good to hear something like that. My 7 year old nephew only likes rock and listens to Pearl Jam. Nice to see there are some kids who like great music instead of computerized B.S. PoP/Rap Garbage!

    I know exactly how you feel. My two year old is obsessed with Unthought Known (which he calls 'All the Thoughts' and constantly asks me to play 'Eddie'. He likes to dance to all types of music but when PJ is on he bangs his head hard rock style and runs around in circles. I just hope I get a chance to take him to a PJ concert when he is old enough..

    and this is why rock band is great, kids don't go to the store to buy records anymore, if they can experience music like this i think its great!
