    Over the last week, I've charged 15 shows for me and 3 friends who have not had internet access while the presales were going on - So my card has gotten a nice $2,300 or so workout this mini tour.

    I'm in the exact same boat as you. 5 shows, high limit credit card. Although i have noticed that when it comes to Pearl Jam, i dont even look at the ticket prices because it doesnt even matter. Thats the only band in the world i can say that about... at least untill the bill comes and its $800.

    I can't wait 'til Pearl Jam goes on tour for free like Ozzy did last year. Of course they'd have to first each get their own reality tv show and make complete idiots of themselves.

    4 shows + Roo... not sure how I'm gonna afford any posters...but in the end it's the best investment I can make...looking forward to seeing ya'll this summer.

    I am lucky and have a husband who understands that I NEED to go to at least one show, so he will take off work and play both mom and dad while I fly to SC with my oldest daughter.

    Maybe some day when the kids are older and I can find someone who will watch a kid with challenges, I can see more than one show.

    Of course if they ever come back to St Louis I can do that one since it is local. Or maybe somewhere in Southern IL.

    I work with kids with special needs, unfortunately it doesn't pay a whole lot, but I wouldn't change any of it. Well, it would be nice to have a little extra cash when Jam hits the road!

    I am heading to hopefully 3 shows, depending on the confirmation, Hartford and Mansfields. Definitely broke, but well worth it. If I wasn't heading to Chicago to see the Cubs, I would probably give in and get the MSG shows.

    and hey.......there's always a way....just get creative!
    i was planning on being good...and limiting myslf to 3 shows, and only traveling for one. also figured the DC show was an extra splurge, our anniversary weekend. MSG is my backyard, so all good. then...that 'possible' added mansfiled date, taunted me.....so now....5 shows, added hartford and hopefully mansfield. fuck being good...i like being bad. ;)

    I was talking to a buddy today to make sure he reserved his Mansfield tix. We talked about the open date (June 29) and wondered if the band would be doing anything. He says, "God, I hope not.....I can't afford anything else" Then we both laughed, saying that we knew we'd be going to anything else that was scheduled in the Mass area that weekend, or following week.

    Hey, we're supposed to be stimulating the economy with these checks we're getting this summer, right? I can't think of a better way to do it.

    i aint ashamed.. could be blowing all my money on hookers and heroin :P at least pearl jam is healthy and contains no artificial flavoring ...

    Well I am happy to go to 2 Florida shows I would have liked to have gotten tickets for the SC Show.But oh well.I will be getting that money from the goverment in May or June to pay for Tees and Posters.

    3 shows, beginning the day we get back from our honeymoon, is completely wiping us out. Well, that and....

    i've got my wedding in June, and buying a house (on Long Island, if anyone knows what kind of $$ that entails) before then.

    i would even have free crash pads in SC and DC, but just can't afford the tickets or the time off.

    well, like Mandi and I said, for the "next tour" we will all be richer and have much more flexible jobs!
