    Good thread Hoff

    I'd like to add,
When is the official Pearljam iphone app going to be updated to include the new (and ridiculously awesome) Pearljam radio that we have on the homepage!

I have a bootleg copy of a 1995 Australian Tour DVD. It's official, but never released. Will it be released? It's like a tour/home video experience that is awesome! But I would like to see it in better quality. Maybe it will come ut with the Vitalogy re-issue?!

Also, I remember years ago they were working on a Yokahama DVD? This still around?

And maybe "Give Way" will be released with a Yield re-issue?

We really want access to shows from the vault, like the 1992 NYC release that came with Avacado. They should do this with every release for TenClub members... or make them available with the Holiday release.

Just a few things I thought about.

Can the poster pre-sales be permanently implemented? I think that worked much better than the first come, first serve poster sales. yes, I'm bitter that the cleveland poster was sold out by the time I got to the merch stand

    Re-bump.

Have you emailed 10C to notify them of the existence of the thread, CJ?

Dunno if you'll get anywhere, but hey, it's a worth a shot.

It's a crying shame they junked the Rumour Pit.

Since Santos answers random posts on here when someone complains about their member number, there's no doubt they have seen this too. If we just keep bumping it, the more chance they'll answer it, or do a new "current information" thread like they did a year ago when people were clammering for updates.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

    bump

at the risk of repeating what's been said 1,000 times before, it would be wonderful if the 10C could provide some solid leads or actual answers to a few of these questions. i fully appreciate that some or a lot of this stuff, like the 20th anniversay show or cameron crowe's DVD may still be in the early stages of being put together or are still just being mapped out etc. so it's hard to say anything as nothing is locked down, but i would like to think something like the ETA of the "annual gift", which (again, flame at will) is just becoming a punchline year in year out. i'd still happily continue to remain a member of 10C with or without the 45, but you know, if they tell us we're getting dessert, i'd just like to actually get it at some stage! ;)

i do realise the guys have their hands in a lot of pies these days with side projects, worthy causes, families, etc. and as important as these are to them / 10C, i think it would be really lovely if they could also find some time to work on the band's own backlog of very cool sounding projects that has kept us all salivating for years.

    all of the above, IMHO.

    Great thread!

I'm still a little confused by the fact that we were sold the 10c version of Backspacer on the belief that we would have access to some kind of special download (a la the store bought copies but better). Something worth getting the 10c version for? Don't get me wrong, I like the hard cover and all....but is this 'extra bonus material' now not happening at all??

It was a link to pick a few live shows to download for free. I got 'em. Link probably won't work any more though. But yeah, it was there.

    ROCK BAND: PEARL JAM Question.
It has been 366 days since this announcement was made "Pearl Jam Rock Band Project Coming Next Year." (http://pearljam.com/news/pearl-jam-rock-band-project-coming-next-year) Is this project still on track to be released this year (2010) or has it been delayed/ scrapped? Is there a proper release date for this game yet? What is it? Will it feature digitally rendered version of the band (like The Beatles: Rock Band had the fab 4 in it)? Will it be available for purchase as a game disk, or available as download content, or both?

    ALTERNATE SONG VERSION QUESTION
Prior to the "Ten (Redux)" coming out, several of us ran across a version of the song "Alive" that had completely different solo parts. It was available to listen to in streaming format, but not for purchase or download. Where did that version come from? What are the specifics behind that version? What happened to that version? Why was it removed? Are there also alternate versions of other songs from PJ's catalog? Will you make them available to the public in any format?

    Also, bump.

    :)

Are you sure you're not thinking of the store bought copies? I also obtained those (bought through store whilst waiting for 10c version to arrive) but we were told that the downloadable content with the 10club bought disc would be different from those on offer with the normal retail version.

    EDIT: This is copied from an email I received from 10c on 18th Sept 2009 (Please see last sentence);

    BACKSPACER HITTING STORES NOW
As if you needed a reminder... Backspacer hits the streets and mailboxes all around the world starting now. Vinyl copies will be shipping from the Ten Club starting now. All pre-order CDs have shipped. You can also order Backspacer at iTunes.com/backspacer. The iTunes version contains a killer digital version of the package called iTunes LP.
Also, check out this great price on Backspacer if you live in the U.K. http://www.7digital.com/artists/pearl-jam/backspacer/
The Target version of the CD and the iTunes version contain 2 free concert downloads chosen from a list of 11 PJ shows. Stay tuned for details on free concert downloads from the vault through the Ten Club version of the CD.

More of an idea than a question but they should sell guitar picks in the goods section.

I see that PJ water bottles are available are there plans for a travel coffee mug? How about a non-travel coffee mug?

Have you thought of scanning the setlists or the posters, and creating bookmarks for sale? The bandmembers like to offer book reviews or suggestions, maybe they could use that let's-read energy in designing a Pearl Jam bookmark.

I'm guessing it was the original mix from the 01-29-91 promo CD.

The 10 version has some overdubs on Mikey's solos.
