    the bit with ed and jeff at the end is crazy...its like they are telling the future. really good stuff...

    tim robbins snapping pics of the band on stage is great to....fuck it, im a famous actor but this is fucking pearljam im taking some pictures...id be taking pictures to tim....way to go....

    i think its a good video to be released now...like ed said at the end, since we got four more years of bush after all that, maybe now, maybe finally, we will wake up and vote for change!

    Wow.

    This film moved me. I really don't know how else to describe it. I flew out for the first Boston show and everything was so promising then. This movie brought all that back to me. I saw the Springsteen/REM/Bright Eyes VFC show here in St. Paul (which featured John Fogerty and Neil) and to date that is the best show I've ever been a part of. One month later it was like a punch to the gut. I've never forgotten that, either. I hope that I don't get that feeling again this year.


    On a side note- At the very beginning it says the footage of Of the Girl was in Seattle on 9/28. They had to have been doing that pretty early that day seeing as they had a show on the other side of the country that night.

    Edit....I am almost done. And what I really like the variety of people they interviewed. Still top notch. I will be getting this on dvd for sure!!!!

    just finished it now, must say, very inspiring, and very well done. absolutely LOVED it. I especially loved how it was filmed on those older types of cameras, I believe they're called "Super 8's"?? "All Along The Watchtower" was phenomenal. I really hope this comes out on dvd.

    Act of Love was the highlight of that Toledo show for me. Very nice. Neil showing up made up for the uninspired setlist that night.
    No longer overwhelmed it seems so simple now.

    yeah, it looks like it's no longer on the REM site. you can still find the video clips on youtube - linked in this thread somewhere.

    sucks that it's gone. hopefully, it's been copied by some fine folk.
