    I tried and sec 8 row 1 was available as well as section 10 row 4 and 5.

    Exactly what seats were available to the 10 club then? Anyone past row 10 on the floor got screwed by not having those sec 10 seats. Even the section 8 row 1 seats are better than row 24 on the floor.

    i wonder if the lower ones were originally considered "too low" as far as sightlines go, and 10C starts a few rows higher? not sure.

    No way. Those 1st 3 rows are not obstructed at all. I've sat there at another arena and they are perfect. Even if they were there is nothing blocking the section 8 row 1 seats that were available. That is the first row of a hockey game. Even that is better than the section C row 24 seat a member with a 183XXX number got.
