    1967 was the year I really started to get into music.
    So many great ones from that year: :thumbup:

    Are You Experienced--The Jimi Hendrix Experience
    Disraeli Gears--Cream
    The Who Sell Out
    Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band--The Beatles
    There Are But Four Small Faces--Small Faces
    A Hard Road--John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers
    Sounds of Silence--Simon and Garfunkel
    John Wesley Harding--Bob Dylan

    Plenty of pop crap in those days too but lots of fine music to get you through teen angst. :clap:

    I found a site which told me the top ten albums in the UK for 1967, there were three showtune albums in there, one was Fiddler on the Roof, I got into bed last night and going round and round in my head was 'If I was a rich man .....'

    Found this site as well;

    Told me what was no. 1 single and album on my date of birth :D

    On 2nd Jul 1967 ...

    The Number 1 single was:
    Procol Harum - "A Whiter Shade Of Pale"

    The Number 1 album was:
    Beatles - "Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"
