Where's a good place for some pints and a burger pre-show? I don't feel like searching through the other Hartford threads. I'm staying at the Hilton and prefer walking distance. Sorry, and thanks in advance!

    was also very interested in the area around the XL CENTER??? Is the parking modtly found in garages or if we arrive there at a certain time could we be lucky enough to maybe find a spot in the street? Are there restaurants close to the arena? Good bars???? Is there anything else available to do in Mid May in Hartford on a Saturday??? :?: My friends and I will probably be there around 1pm we will spend some time getting out tickets then its basically hanging out until they let us in.

    I think I ended up at the Tavern. it was around the corner from the citizens bank across the way from the XL center.It was a nice place if it was in deed the Tavern. There were tones of PIctures on the wall of Ireland and tons of diffferent police and firefighter patches on the wall. It kinda sucked that the Bar kinda kept on playing Versus over and over again. But, damn the walk to the bathroom is quite awkward up about 8 stairs then down about 30 then they play this very weird music in the bathroom. I was in there at one point and the song was talkin about makin sure you had enough lube on your condom so thie shit dont break when ya throw it in her stink. WTF??? anyways nice bar if it isnt actually the tavern where I was and someone knows the place I am talkin about let me know please??? The girls there were amazing if you are a single guy. Well if you are an attached guy I wouldn't blame you for lookin around at all. WOW
