Ran across this on Digg. Thought you'd all appreciate it.

There are some awesome songs on that list!
Besides WWS, I love the inclusion of The Arcade Fire's "Intervention." That is such a GREAT song. Never realized the lyrics were anti-Bush in nature, but it makes a lot of sense now.
And oh fuck...just saw the video...they used one of the most iconic films in world history as a backdrop for the song. Fucking brilliant!

Cool link, but masters of war was written in the 20th Century by Bob Dylan."Goddamn Romans. Sure know how to make a ... drum room." --Matt Cameron0 -

Exactly..
The 21st century has yet to finish its course (there are 90 years left), so I imagine there will be a lot of better protest songs than wws.. and don't get me wrong I love wws0 -
Day After Tomorrow is amazing (it is Tom Waits after all). First time I heard it, I was listening to Idiot's Delight while working the late shift at a gas station. Made me cry. Sitting in freakin' gas station booth.
It's an interesting list. Is this going to be the new protest era? I don't think anything will displace the '60's in terms of music, but it's good to hear my generation making an attempt.0 -
Nice to see REMs Final Straw on there. That song grabbed me the first time I ever heard it. Too bad they chose to include it on such a horrendous album.0
