Sorry if this was already posted, but tailgaiting allowed in Newark?
What time do the lots open?
Anybody ever see a show there?

Just got back from Indy. Hope Newark is also great! :D:D

    If you look on Google Earth The Prudential Center still is a parking lot.

    they have a few adjacent lots
    but its not a wise decision to try to tailgate in them ,
    theres an overflow of cops-and-security , and its really not permitted.

    There are cabs at Penn station, but like previously stated you can walk to the Rock from there if your want!

    Don't forget about the Newark pre-party fundraiser. We're starting @ 2:00pm @ MMM Bellos. Bellos is just a few yards behind Newark Penn Station. Both Penn& Bellos are walking distance to Pru Center. Easy walk, two main avenues, Market to Mulberry. Look at the official thread for detail. On event nights there are a ton of cops around also.

    As a Devils fan I have been to Newark and the Prudential Center many times. Walking the 4 blocks from Penn Station you are in no danger of losing your life or getting mugged from the so called Newark problems. The area has been cleaned up a lot and on event nights the Police are everywhere directing traffic and watching for problems.

    As for tailgating I would not recommend it. The lots are very tightly packed and it is patrolled, if you are taking up 2 spots I can almost guarantee that the lot personnel will ask you to move.
