    The Canadian Navy is celebrating its 100th Anniversary this year. Here they are marching in a Freedom of the City parade.

    It's too bad the police cars are in this one. If you just had the street, the sky, and the sailors, this picture would be even better.

    It's too bad the police cars are in this one. If you just had the street, the sky, and the sailors, this picture would be even better.

    Yeah, I don't even mind the MP car in the shot overmuch, but the white door frame of the truck I was leaning on is kind of annoying. It was hard to get in there and get a really good shot. There were a lot of people like me trying to get a "good" shot before the sailors were dismissed.

    the interesting thing about that pic is when the zoemonster was a year old(shes now 11) i took an identical shot and the time on the clock was just 1 minutes difference. i knew last week when i took the above pic something was mighty familiar about the set up. the colour was more vivid than in 2000 as well.

    I did something similar once. I took a picture of Saint Patrick's gravestone in N. Ireland. When I got back home, I found an identical picture (same angle, same spot) on a postcard that my gran had bought when she visited there in the 1950s.
