what good bars are near newark/prudential

within walking distance? gonna get there kind of early and need place to chill for a few hours.. dont want to have to dodge gunshots walking from the bar to the arena..also, is the train station near the arena?? thanks

    there is a bar across from the rock called "Brick City."

    little pricey but a nice place with some nice bar foods. Its not like stout near MSG, they most likely wont be playing old pearl jam shows or music, but you will be able to get a nice drink and relax before the show
