there were seats at the Gorge shows/venue? I guess I always figured it was just a GA show in the middle of nowhere.
So what is the deal with tents then, is that because the place is out in the middle of nowhere?

you camp, hence the tents. there is an amphitheatre with seats and then a lawn GA. GORGE OUS venue

I got to the gorge all the way from Adelaide, AUSTRALIA. It was over 110 degrees yes it was very hot but 2 very good shows. Makes one heck of a good bootleg pack.I'm just flying around the other side of the world to say I love you

i think most of its pretty boring actually (the bootleg, i'm sure being there was nice). The first show isnt that great, the other two are good.
