Thanks :) The purple ones are new this year and the orange ones have been a.w.o.l. the past few years thanks to the stinking, thieving deer :x

However, this year, we bought this really gross blood mixture that works a charm. It stinks to high heaven and after application, the gardens looks like they've been in a bloodbath, but it works. :lol::lol:

has anyone ever seen these? they're called rainbow roses.
I'm a florist and have never even heard of them, I'm on a mission now to get them in the shop!

no never saw those before, very psychedelic, but very unnatural. They may have their place in the proper arrangement/ occasion but it's kind of like dyed blue/pink/purple daisies I prefer the natural ones.I bet though like you said some may really like 'em.

^^^ No, I've never seen anything like that before either. They're kinda surreal. Not really sure if I'd buy something like that though. They're probably really expensive to boot.

yeah they probably are pretty expensive. I generally prefer natural looking flowers as well, but these are just so neat looking to me. I'm participating in an indie art fair this summer, they'd be perfect for drawing attention and i think the college kids would like em' alot 8-)

I wish you could smell my pink tea roses, better than rose perfume. I bring them in to fill the house.
Its rose time here, they are not fond of the Georgia heat so they are at their happiest now.CIMG1197.jpg
Life is good in a rose garden :)

oh do if you can. In the pics the darker variety bush style does well here in Ga in the heat better than your traditional roses that like it cool. They will bloom some all summer. Good luck! Its very rewarding!
