I still think Social D - Don't Drag Me Down would be a good cover.

As would some Drive By Truckers - Ronnie & Neil, or even better Let There Be Rock!
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

They've kind of done it before, but Angie by the Stones, or Eddie doing Wild Horses by himself would be pretty sweet. I always thought it would be interesting to see the bands take on a Zeppelin song, not sure if Eddie could sing it, but if that guy from Godsmack can do it, I bet Eddie could do it 100x better.
    32 shows and counting...
  • Anything....

Just give Rockin in the beat world, CrotchyMary, Last Kiss, and the who a break. Bring back baba in like 5 years. That would make it special again.

Incredibly spoiled.....just try seeing them once a year, instead of 4 or 5 times. Then you might just enjoy the shows much more.

Think a newbie would say those songs you mentioned aren't special?

Pearl Jam fans make Indie-rock fans blush sometimes.....

Another version of Fool In The Rain wouldn't be so bad....

I'd like to see them cover some Mookie Baylock

No Seriously I think they'd do an awesome version of "If you tolerate this...." by Manic Street Preachers

I always thought they could cover Lynyrd Skynyrd pretty good. "Simple Man" comes to mind, especially with Boom. I can see Mike, Stone and Boom swapping solos and tearing it up. Great encore song.

Gov't Mule does a great 9:00 minute version of it.

I still think Mad Season's Wake Up would work great as a Daughter tag.

I'd love to hear the full band rocking out to Neil's Powderfinger, or Like a Hurricane.

Ed seems to like the Plasmatics, they should cover one of their songs... lol.

Also, if John Mayer can cover Radiohead, PJ certainly can, but I don't really want them to.
  • 'Slaves and Bulldozers' by Soundgarden

'Touch of Grey' Grateful Dead (they might as well own up to all of the Dead comparisons they get [Ament has commented on this in the past] and embrace it with a cover)

Or how about some Doors- we all know that Ed can sing them like no other (other than Jim of course)
The Doors would seem a logical choice with Boom in the fold nowadays.
    This weekend we rock Portland

    I declare something by Radiohead.

No offense to you of course, but geez Radiohead could not suck more. Anyone can not tune their instruments and whine.
