    I just listened to that '95 Red Rocks show and I gotta say, for me at least, that version of Jeremy kinda killed the flow of that show. I do enjoy hearing the alternate version of Jeremy when it comes on shuffle on my iTunes but not in the context of a full show.
    I’ve seen Pearl Jam 25 times, Eddie Vedder 9 times, and Brad once.

    How can the second song kill the flow of a show? The first six songs were all slower songs songs played while seated.

    Exactly!...I *THOUGHT* that the "Alternate Version" of JEREMY fitted in Nicely at that Show! :)

    The band should NEVER retire any songs. There will always be people at shows who are hearing these amazing songs for their first time (like me at MSG!)


    Anyway, back to this thread- I have to agree with KO & Dewie- not too big on the alternate version myself.
    But I'm all for the regular, studio version. I really want to hear the incredible song that first got me into this band 2 years ago :)
