Help connecting Mackie 1202 mixer to Powerbook G4

Guys, I'm getting nowhere. All my instrument mics show up on the mixer, however I'm getting no sound in Garageband. Anyone willing to step me through this?

    Ill try and help. I use a g4 powerbook for transferring my stuff over to from g5 tower. I use a motu firewire interface to record the tracks. Make sure you have chosen "real instrumet track" and "monitor on". You ned to set input and output for each track before you will hear anything. That is basic hooking shit up advice, but your post has no details other than that. Update me later
