    I remember a certain Mr. Vedder on many occasions on numerous live shows giving his speeches about freedom of speech and about how we as Pearl Jam fans have the power to make ourselves heard because this number of people are a force to be reckoned with. I don't expect to hear Freebird and don't expect everyone to back my silly campaign but it's only words and music I'm asking for, not something out of the ordinary and I do have hope because that is what we live on sometimes. Play Freebird for D and you have the world's happiest Greek PJ fan, don't play it, you have the world's happiest Greek PJ fan anyway. Even a little tag somewhere would be a victory and would give others hope for their own requests. I hope this is read by a band member and they can at least laugh about it.     Point taken about the choice over cover or original but I simply jumped on the fact that every time a setlist or covers thread comes up D is right in there with this song. He obviously loves it, would love to hear PJ cover it at a show and given the amount he does for the Euro PJ community I think it would be nice if he could have this little nod of appreciation. If people would read the whole thread sometimes I wouldn't need to explain but it doesn't need to make sense given that nothing else on this beautiful planet ever does. Just go with the flow and nobody will be hurt whether they play it or not. It's just music and it's just a song! Jeez! :D
