    I am disappointed!

somethings happened to me... what with me getting sentimental about our own badge idea getting blatantly stolen right in front of our eyes and then not doing a shaved fanny gag...

I just pricelined a hotel. Staying at Cassidys Hotel (on Upper O Connell Street), which is like a 20 walk north of the O2. What's the area like...i have no clue.

O'Connell St is the main street in Dublin, so you'll be fine ;) That place is up beside the Ambassador Theatre so it's easy to get to. Just get off the bus on O'Connell St from the airport and walk backwards.

Thanks Jenny - actually I arrive in Dublin about 5 days earlier, but before we stick around downtown Dublin we plan to go to the west side of Ireland (just after we land).

Still undecided whether to a) rent a car and see the Dingle Peninsula or b) take a train to Galway, stay there and venture over to Inis Mór...hmm, decisions, decisions..

Well, I'm not flying, but taking the boat/train back to London, but all the same...

This Town Square in Arras, France looks like a purrty nice venue. Maybe I should tell my boss that my boiler has blown and fly over for it ;)

I would recommend you drive, as the public transport system is actually pretty abismal outside of Dublin!

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
