Thought Pet Detective was awesome, I should say very funny. Ya it was never going to win an Oscar, but man did I laugh at that movie. Seen it way to many times.

But just saw Twilight New Moon on the weekend (only cause my daughter had to have it, which i bought for her) thank god I fell a sleep half way through, terrible movie.
I think she has watched it 3 times since Saturday :(

what pops into my head right away is "The Day After Tomorrow". wtf. When the cold is chasing them running down the hallways and they run into the room, close and lock the door, and the -100 degree cold cant bust in? Or how the dad snowshoes in an ice age from DC to NYC and just happens to end up right where he has to be?

I recommend you never watch the movie 2012 then. It made "The Day After Tomorrow" look realistic

I can't remember the worst movie I've ever seen. If it was in the movie theater, I probably fell asleep. If it was on TV, I probably turned it off.

I don't remember stuff like that!!!

Checked it out of the library last week. "The Good Shepherd" with Robert DiNiro and Matt Damon was boring and on the cover, it said it was the BEST spy movie ever. I usually like MD. We kept waiting for something to happen. Oh and Angelina Jolet played MD's wife. They did a good job of aging her in the movie, but MD always looked like a little boy and it was hard to follow as it jumped back in forth from 1939 to 1961.

As for Twilight's New Moon, i'm number 64 in the queue for getting it at the library. There appear to be over 10 copies of it in my copy, but I bet it'll be all scratched up from the teens and middle aged women like me watching it six times.

caught a few min of 2 really bad movies the last few days on tv...

caught <5 min of starship troopers - my god, what little i saw had such bad acting and the effects like the flash from the guns were kinda crappy. i also laughed at their brilliant military maneuver of the troopers just rushing out into the middle in a large group then quickly having to retreat

saw a little bit more of the faculty. josh hartnett's hair style alone makes it one of the worst films ever

In the cut - fell asleep at the cinema during the film, the whole thing (or the parts I was awake for) seemed to be an excuse for Meg Ryan to show some skin...normaly I like her films. Joe and the volcano was hilarious.

  • Ooo that's a tricky one ....a film I was soooo disappointed by was 'The Righteous Kill'; how on earth do you take 2 movie giants and make something worthy of Hallmark or Movies 24??? :o :?
