How many people do you need confirmed Erik to take back to Harpers Ferry showing them we don't need an opening act?

i think we have 50 from FB so far...with over 250 people who are undecided or have yet to respond...if we can get 200....the band is good for 200....that will put as at 400 and that's about what we'd need i guess.....but I know a lot of people that will go & won't bother to post...so it's hard to say.
Gotcha. Yeah, without facebook I have no way of knowing these things. Thanks for the update.

Best Western Terrace Inn says there's no availability for that night. I'm looking into Courtyard Marriot Boston-Cambridge. Comparable price & distance, but they only have king beds with sofas in the rooms. And there's a pool, yo! Anyhoo, let me know if anyone else has luck.

    cool...so that's where you & T got a room? i'll book one this weekend!

i know cantkeepmehere is coming up from Vermont with a group of people again so maybe we can all take over the hotel for the day/night!

i will be booking here as well this weekend
and I will be coming with my brother and his girlfriend
I saw PJ in Philly night 2 with my stepdaughter and then Night 3 with my wife, but in 2008 I was married on Septemeber 13th - that July instead of a bachlor party my brother and I drove the 22+ hours to Tennessee to see Pearl Jam at Bonnaroo so he is really looking forward to hearing those songs live again

The HarpersFerry website says FullTilt is opening up for BSL on April 10th - is this true?
and ok I will book this weekend at the same hotel as Colleen

CrazyBreed I have been doing the night shift for my company in Lowell all week and will be for the next few days - working on the I-495 interstate bridges - Where is a good place to get a grinder in around Lowell?
I arrive around 8pm and roll out at 4am, so counting last Saturday I have been making the VT to Lowell trip 3 times with about 5 to go - you do have better radio stations then we do here for sure

This event will be fun! I am hoping to get there as early as possible...I couldn't request the day off from work, so I am probably working, I will get there when I get there! Or...maybe I will call in sick! ;)

So first, I have a wonderful thing to donate and I will tell you about it later..

Second, doesn't Harper's Ferry close at midnight? You may need to plan an after party..

  • Yeah funnygirl, I have a feeling u'll be coming down with the swine flu in exactly one month! ;)

CantKeep / Crazy Breed... yes, we booked THAT hotel the other day, for April 10-11. I figured it couldn't hurt, cause u can cancel up until that same day, & there's no deposit required. We booked a 2-room suite, anticipating numerous crashers on our floor, & I'm sure we'll find ppl to use the pull-out couch. (I'm not actually sure if the regular rooms have pull-out sofas or not, but I know the suites do.) I've told u guys on here about this place, & the helpers on FB, but I didn't wanna announce it on the FB event page until at least u core ppl have booked ur rooms (if u want to). Oh, they offer a AAA discount, so don't forget to look for that when u book. And note: there IS a nightly parking fee ($24 I think), so the more ppl u travel with, the more to split the cost. When u mapquest the directions from there to the venue, it's a 3-min straight shot drive, looks quick & simple.

Midnight?! R u fucking serious?! That better not be true!

Oh Erik, I heard about that Full Tilt opening act on Saturday, but Jay didn't want me to say anything to u. So I'm glad someone else brought it up. I believe they're playing 8-9pm... in my opinion, we DEF don't need an opener, but I'm assuming this is out of our hands? :?

was it dead? maybe they just figured they would cut their losses?
