So does anyone think this tour, that they are hopefully announcing will have at least one Canadian date?

    no.

tho technically, an american bird could refer to a north american one, which thus could include canada, but i just don't think so at the moment. i think it's going to be a pretty small bunch of tourdates.

Well, I am trying not to get my hopes up here. All indications so far are to this being the same thing they have done for the past several years. A limited tour to the northeast with a few other cities sprinkled in.

I'd say that's a safe bet. If there are more than 10 dates, I'd be pleasantly surprised.

Does anyone know, can you use a Visa debit card to pay for tickets?

I ususally use credit card, but I'd rather just use my debit card.

Think they will announce any Canadian date at all this year??

tough to say. Ed said at their last Vancouver show "see you next year", but he says shit like that all the time. It's a LOT of work and money for any band to tour cross-Canada. You can cover MANY more cities in a lot less ground in Europe and USA.

If anything, they'll announce the Big Canadian Three (Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver). I'm not betting on them playing Winnipeg anytime soon, which is why I hope they play Fargo again! Road trip!

    capeesh

    capeesh
    variant spelling of capiche (q.v.).

    Main Entry: capeesh
    Part of Speech: interj
    Definition: do you understand?
Example: I will call you when dinner is ready. Capeesh?
    Etymology: Italian capisce 'understand'

    capisce?
    ;)

glad we got thursday hashed out.

This is actually more complicated. If Kat were addressing just one poster using the familiar second-person pronoun "tu," she would say "capisci," as in "Ti capisci?" ("Do you understand?"). If she were addressing all of us in the familiar, then it would be "capite," as in "Vi capite?"

Now, if Kat were to get all formal on us and use the fancy "Lei" (singular) or "Loro" (plural), then she should say either "capisce," as in "Si capisce?" (singular), or "capiscono," as in "Si capiscono?" (plural).

Spanish speakers will be familiar with this "tu"/"Lei" dynamic, which is the same for "tu" and "Usted."
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

That would certainly give me a good reason to go see the in-laws again.
