  • "The Drunk and on Drugs Happy Funtime Hour" (Showcase) - The stars of the "Trailer Park Boys" reunite for an outrageous six-episode comedy that bears this long and suggestive working title. Billed as "a genre-breaking and highly innovative mix of narrative and sketch comedy," the series stars Mike Smith, Robb Wells and JP Tremblay as the cast of a children's show gone awry in the sleepy town of Port Cockerton. Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson plays an actor that assumes the identity of a German scientist to teach children about nutrition. He creates a powerful hallucinogen from local berries and chaos ensues as the cast unknowingly ingests the drug and loses grip on reality. Throw in a dangerous cult and a dysfunctional crime family and you know this isn't your typical comedy. Smith, Wells and Tremblay - better known as their "Trailer Park Boys" personas Bubbles, Ricky and Julian - serve as writers and executive producers. Expected to debut in the spring.

This show has serious potential. The plot alone makes me laugh. Can't wait.

I just got into this series as well. A buddy of mine was telling me about it when he had DirectTv. I know it gets better down the road, but season 1 was just terrible in my opinion. I have to get through the 3rd disc of the season 1&2 set and then get into Season 3. I am using these as filler when a new release isn't available in my queue from Netflix.

i finished this series not that long ago, thanks to netflix. i didn't know there was a christmas special, i've seen all 7 seasons and the movie. the 7th season was kinda lacking and slow in some spots but was still good, like when sebastian bach said when he got into model trains that's when he became a winner. why weren't corey and trevor in the last season?

make my words, that was a great series, now if you excuse me i have to go study for my grade 10

they left because the main actors started getting big egos and treated them like dicks in real life

    knock knock

    who's there

    fuck off.

watched seasons 1-3 this weekend and the first movie.

the plot gets pretty repetive, but still stupid fun.

kind of felt belt for the two regular women in the movie when the brought in the hottie.

I was a huge fan of the TPB. Used to watch episodes almost everyday. For those just starting to watch it, I swear you'll get addicted by season 3 and + ...

My all time favorite part is during the episode called "propane, propane", when a seriously intoxicated Mr. Leahy is singing the Propane song to Bubble.

well, actually, I just found it on youtube:

You can get all seasons in a boxset for really cheap.. Got mine last year and enjoyed it many times.
-"it's times like these you have to ask yourself, "what would mike mccready do"

Welcome!
