Good time @ the boathouse last night. Met some cool folks from the board. Did anyone there see the 2 fights after the band stopped playing? One in the parking lot and one on the way out the door. I said to one of the guys standing there watching, "So this is what happens when a PJ tribute band stops playing." But once the cops showed up I was out of there. I don't talk to cops after midnight.

Last night was SICK! That's the most fun I've had at a BSL show in a while. I love being surrounded by such a great group of ppl that I can just let loose with. And the band, OMG... they kicked some SERIOUS ass! It was a pleasure meeting some of u "boardies" there (youngster, CantKeepMeHere, & 3legged dog), but I guess I missed LoveBoatAdmiral & FenwayFaithful... what's with jetting outta there early?!

Yeah, those fights were crazy at the end. The firetrucks, ambulances, & cruisers were blocking our car in! I heard there was even a cat-fight during the show, but totally missed that. Lani almost ran over someone passed out in parking lot when they were leaving . Dracut :roll:.

Tony's feeling a bit dehydrated, but he'll survive. My neck is killing me, but at least the headache is gone. I can't even imagine how Jay feels! And tell Kerry I hope her back is alright. Everyone rest up now... this was just a pregame for the big event on April 10th! Can't wait to see all u fools again!

Wasn't that just 100 times more than you would have ever expected.
Erik I am truely sorry for rushing out but our driver came in at 1:15am and said that it was now or never to get a ride back to our hotel - April 10th we all have to meet up a littlebit earlier and truely hang a bit before the show!!!

Meeting U R A Crazy Breed was crazycool - my wife got a real kick out of the band making eriks announcement "looking" for me! I thought it was kinda cool too.
Youngster!!! You ball of energy, around the bar and on the dance floor it was cool to see you in the circle by the fence as well -
FenwayFaithful, you are just 2 cool amigo and even more comical in person we gotta get together a little bit early before the April 10th event-

I am sorry but I still don't know what you said to me in reference to my pal Tim even though you were kind enough to repeat it like 4 times because sometime around 1am my ear drums officially burst - I lost my throat at about 12:59am -

It was a massive good time and even though I allowed myself to become totally absorbed in the music and less social that I originally intended I cannot wait to do it again!!! My wife who is tons of fun still cannot stop talking about how good BackSeatLover was even with an under the weather Jay on vocals. The whole band is totally solid but the lead guitarist - HOLY SHIT - I only picked my jaw up about an hour ago -
I don't know... isn't that what it is all about for us in the first place - Those Songs - Those Notes - Those Lyrics - and having the chance for all of us superfans to raise our voices together with those 5 guys on stage last night and have our collective unit create a breathing organic soundtrack to the few hours we all got to spend together.

Erik - we have got to have an "organized" early meeting/hangtime before what ever time we are "suppossed" to get together on the 10th

Honestly guys it was all 100% my pleasure and I am counting the days to hang again and once more live in the sweet moment of killer music

I had a great time too! and we will definitely meet up early before the fundraiser.....the wife and i have decided to get a room next to Harper's Ferry somewhere so we won't have to drive too far after the show.

The cab driver was too funny - his name was Ralph and he only drove his age which was about 80, all brake and all gas nothing in between...
Marlie and I will be hoteling it as well what spot do you have in mind? I will have my brother and his girlfriend with me as well as between 2 and 4 more friends!! It will be great for sure and even cooler if we all had close rooms.

I grew up in the area and there's nothing within walking distance... or safe walking distance But I'd say there are 3 which are a short short cab ride and not crazy as far as prices.. although i'd only recommend 2 of em

Days Inn has two properties down in Allston along the Charles -
-Days Hotel Boston - Harvard Fenway - this one is OK... we used to have hotel parties here
-Days Inn Boston - is a dump I believe - never been but have driven by... not heard good things
-Holiday Inn has a place in Brookline been here for a wedding... decent

then of course you're only a cab ride away from tons of places in Cambridge & Boston ...
