Love their first two albums but undecided on the third. One for each day, since I fell apart0

Great British band ... sounds a bit like Joy Division.
I agree, they would be an excellent choice for PJ support.

It took 2-3 listens for me to love the 3rd album. It's an electric album."Don't let the darkness eat you up..."

I'm decided, I don't like it.
Too much electronica. I love their live shows, seen them 3 or 4 times, but passed when they were here last week because of the new album. It really seems as if they added the electronica because the first two albums sounded so much alike, and they were railed for being a one trick pony. I hope I'm wrong and they come out with something great for album #4.
As for the Joy division comparison, I don't think the band sounds like Joy Division, but Tom Smith certianly sounds like Ian Curtis."You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91

Seeing them tonight, can't wait! Not a huge fan of the new album outside of Papllion, but love the first two.0

Seen them a few times...seems as if their career has sputtered-out a bit in America, similar to the experience that Travis had here.0

I almost prefer it that way. I obviously wish them success here, but due to all of these UK bands only having a cult following in the USA, you get to see them in more intimate venues.JOEJOEJOE wrote:Seen them a few times...seems as if their career has sputtered-out a bit in America, similar to the experience that Travis had here.0 -
