Hey guys Me and my best mate have recorded a song raising awareness about children affected by war. It is for our year 9 citizenship GCSE course. Children can be so badly affected by war, have you ever known of a child to start war? No? Well you’d be shocked to hear that most people injured or killed in war are under the age of 18. War-affected children are forced to kill or witness the killings of their own brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, friends and neighbours. Their families, schools, neighbourhoods and communities are subjugated and destroyed and some child soldiers serve as porters, spies, cooks, and messengers. War exploits about 300,000 children as child soldiers and close to 10,000 youth are killed or maimed by landmines. Please help us raise awareness about these innocent children by listening to our song, then pass it on to others and be aware of the tragedies that occur throughout our world.
