    I'm getting the feeling Fenway is never happening. The demographic for these events is not the PJ crowd. I'm surprised Phish even got to play Fenway.

    They have been starting to put on multiple shows at Fenway each year. Last year Dave Matthews, Phish, and Paul Mccartney played there. Now that I think about it, was last year when Neal Diamond played or was that 08? That be said the sox will always have bands that appeal to season ticket holders, who generally aren't Pearl Jam fans. Elton John and Billy Joel will bring in way more money because the tickets will be ridiculously expensive!

    (sobbing) It's ok guys. It's gonna be ok. We will have our day in the sun one of these years. And when it does happen, it'll make it all worth it. We're gonna get blasted during the pre-party meet-up and have something afterwards. Do some giveaways or something. No worries everyone. Wait till next year. We waited 86 years to win a title, the least we can do is be patient for Pearl Jam.

    How soon before the unfounded 2011 rumors start? I heard they will also be playing Lolla, Bonnaroo, Coachella and Rothbury in 2011 as well.

    That's okay, EV has said numerous times that he'd like to play a day/night doubleheader at Wrigley. Over the last few years a couple of bands have played there; Jimmy Buffet, Elton & Billy, hell even Rascal Flatts in 09, and I've heard rumblings that Dave Matthews is playing Wrigley in September 2010 so I'm just doing a little wishful thinking.

    As much as I want to see them play Fenway, I could only imagine that tickets would be INSANELY expensive. I've seen a couple of shows there but luckily I didn't have to pay for those seats.

    Besides, if they actually played there, what would we speculate about every. single. year?
