I made home made macaroni cheese, low fat cheese, semi-skimmed milk - no lumps in the cheese sauce due to a hand blender, never got the hang of that roux (is that right) thing :oops:

pizza is the only thing i buy pre made...

so yes home made stew...it was hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm yumm

make a roux ok the easy way..boil some water in a pan on that pan put a glass bowl...with your butter and flour...stir stir stir until mixed....mircowave your milk so its hot(can put a onion small or 1/4 with clove in the milk as well for flavour) ...add 1/4 of milk stir stir stir..it goes thick..add 1/4 more stir stir(wooden spoon)...add the rest stir stir...lol lots so stiring..add mustard little,)..it will all thicken up...and not burn at all as its nto in contact with raw heat...cook out on a low heat for 25-30 mins(little bubbles in the water)..done
