Suggestions needed for good progressive talk radio shows

So, apparently Air America just went under. That leaves our local progressive talk radio station with programming holes to fill. They need ideas ASAP for good, nationally-syndicated, progressive talk shows to program. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

    Another question:

    The corporate station doesn't want to jeopardize the local university station, though they are both progressive. The university station plays Democracy Now every week day at 4 PM, meaning those of us who don't get off work until 5 PM can't listen.

    Would it be rude/threatening to the university station if the corporate station ran Democracy Now at 7 PM?

    Just wondering about people's thoughts on this one, especially since I know y'all have such strong opinions about corporations running the little guy out of business.

    try xm/sirius radio left. they have a wide variety of hosts on there and i think none of them are affiliated with air america anynore, though they used to be. they have alex bennett, ed schultz, thom hartmann, mark thompson, mike malloy, michaelangelo signoreli (sp?), the young turks, and some guy on the weekends whose show is called "live from the land of hope and dreams" whose name escapes me at the moment....this station alone is worth my subscription price.

    Thom Hartman and Norman Goldman. Hartman and Nader are the two loudest voices out there for regulations on corporate power and Goldman is a lawyer and an altogether smart guy. His law background gives hime a good perspective on the issues.

    ed schultz is trying to start a progressive civil war. he attacked mike mallow and randi rhodes and called them corporatists, when schultz went out of his way to whore himself out for a tv show on msnbc. nor-man gold-man (or however he says it on the air) has benefitted from ed's success and thusly can not speak out like he used to because he has profitted from schultz's success, and he can not jeopardize ed's cushy job now can he? .....

    I'm not into Ed Schultz at all but I still think what Goldman has to say is pretty good. He may not be the answer to all our prayers but none of these guys or gals is perfect.

    There is a guy I like on Sirius/XM. He's on channel 110, I think...it's POTUS. The show is Stand up with Pete Dominick. He's a comedian but he talks politics and current events. His show is not specifically progressive, he doesn't even label it one way or another. It's pretty open to all opinions and Pete respects the people that call in. He hardly ever hollers and gets all crazy like a lot of talk shows do. Most of the callers are what I would call "intellilgent" and the discussion and debates are pretty interesting.

    His is one of my favorite talk shows on the radio actually.

    Thom Hartman is a genius, as is obvious to anyone that listens to his show. Michael Savage has only ever appeared to me to be a raving lunatic. If you can elaborate, I'd love to know how/why you enjoy two diametrically opposed personas in the same way.
