I would have to beg him to please never license a song for use in a television commercial. It would really break the illusion for me.

Just imagine:

Delta Airlines: We are "GIVEN TO FLY".

    i would never tell someone else, especially someone who has already given me so much, how they can and cant earn their money. maybe i'm wrong.

    When I heard the Buzzcocks song on a Nissan Truck commercial... I thought, GREAT. These fuckers put that song out years ago... and slaved through the dive club punk scene for years. Now... they are getting the corporations to pay them for a 20 year old song. good for them.
    And Princess Cruise paying Iggy Pop for a song about heroin and alcohol addiction and male prostitutes... THAT'S fucking PUNK!!!
