So I had the song from the Cable Guy soundtrack and I love Ty Williams voice from this. So I was looking at a Sweetwater video. A band from Seattle that started in '91 that RAWKed. BTW, there back and are playing Bumbershoot this year and working on a new album. So then I found this video for the
Oh, Sweet Nothin' by $10,000 Gold Chain.

Check it out. I think its from 1996 so how I have never seen it till now is surprising.

Yeah, nice find- classic mid 90's sound and look to the video as well-does Mike still smoke, I thought Eddie was the last smoker in the bunch....

    Good stuff!

Just a quick correction, it is Ty Willman. He was the lead singer of a different Seattle band called Green Apple Quick Step.

I remember seeing both Green Apple Quick Step and Sweetwater playing around town in the early '90s. Damn those were good times. I am excited to see Sweetwater playing Bumbershoot this year. Here's their website: http://www.sweetwaterrocks.com

Ty Willman has got a solo project going called Mass Sugar. They opened up for Brad at Neumos in Seattle a few months ago and were really good. Here's a link: http://www.myspace.com/massugar

The Green Apple Quick Step used to be called Inspector Love and the Ride Me Babies. I think there is a hand bill from one of the very first Mooky Blaylock shows that they played with them too.
All I remember when the boys of Sweetwater, My Sister Machine and Green Apple Quick Step got a joint band together one night and played a MyTyWater at the RCKNDY. ahh the grunge memories.

Also I saw some other cool stuff on you tube today.
It was some Mad Season Take 1 and Take 2 rehearsing for the Moore Theater Show. I was at that show in it was the place to be that night in Seattle.
