Hi all,
I just wanted to let you know "The End" from "Backspacer" will be on the next episode of ABC-TV's "Castle", which airs 10pm on Monday, January 18th.
The song plays during the last 5 minutes of the show, and plays through, unedited, in it's entirety.

I remember the fist time I heard Pearl Jam on TV
During friends - it was like the last season and last episode but not the outro anyway they played about 30 secs of Ledbetter and before the 3rd note was played I blurted out "Holy shit...thats yellowledbetter"
then on Friday night lights they played "ComeBack" in its entirety unedited
that was cool tooMy Pearl Jam Fan Videos

YAY. PJ has sold their souls for the sake of having their music on multiple Network TV shows.
Congrats guys. :roll:0 -

Weak argument. People need to get over the fact that bands use TV to get their music out there. It's not 1993 anymore where you can just put out a song to radio and a video to MTV and have your music heard by the masses.
If they put their song in a car commercial, maybe I'll feel differently about it but for now I'm fine with whatever they do in terms of lending their songs to TV shows or movies."Darkness comes in waves, tell me, why invite it to stay?"0 -
Aww, I like Castle. More because of Nathan Fillion than the premise of the show. Too bad I don't have TV right now.2003: Toronto

Funniest segment on Castle ever was this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Q3pdj9p6yI
The next scene was Castle and Beckett walking through a graveyard to investigate a murder. They come up to the body, which is a guy that looks like a vampire with a stake through his heart. Castle's response, "Buffy must be visiting the Big Apple".
Priceless... if you know your Whedon.
I fully approve of a PJ song on a Fillion show. That's an awesome combo.Pitt 98, Pitt 00, Cleveland 03, Pitt 03, State College 03, Toledo 04, Toronto 05, Pitt 05, Cleveland 06, Pitt 06 & Chicago 07, Chicago 1&2 09, Philly 2,3,4 09, Cleveland 10, Columbus 10, Alpine Valley 1& 2 110 -

Ha! And did you catch the scene where he dressed up as a "space cowboy" for Halloween? "Didn't you wear that like five years ago?" I miss Firefly!2003: Toronto

only a matter of time before we see them at the super bowl..
WHEN Pearl Jam does the halftime show, it will be the only time ever that I would tune in more for the show than the game...unless my beloved Lions are playing in it

i think you just may have a better shot of seeing eddie standing on a platform in the middle of a bunch of screaming teenagers who don't know who he is, working his way through a medley of even flow, betterman and alive, than you do of seeing your lions in the game.
i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam0 -

Shiny!
Don't Forget, Nathan was on Buffy, too, so he got to reference both shows in the same sequence. As a Browncoat and member of the Nathan Nation, I'm happy that The End will be on the show. It means even more that they are playing the whole thing. (I found the editing on FlashForward to be painful.)
Do you guys know about Kids Need To Read? It's a project near to Nathan's heart. Check it out here:

It fit musically but not lyrically.
Still cool to hear them on a show I actually like.0
