I have loved every album they have made. True, some of them have taken a while to grow on me. I just connected with them the first time I heard "Ten". I never joined any other fan club. They are just a REALLY good band. Of course, I don't have to tell anyone here that :)

    212,869 active numbers.

But that should grow with new memberships today.
    This weekend we rock Portland
  • I joined the day after I saw Pearl Jam for the first time in 1998 (after the hartford show on Sept 18, 1998 i think , I even got stuck in the lawn at that show) it was impossible then as it is now to get tickets to boston area shows. My member number is 178XXX. it only seems logical that about 10 years later the ten club membership numbers have doubled considering the fact that Pearl Jam has been around for close to 20 years now.

409xxx is a 2007-2008 number. Binaural would be around 200xxx

I stand corrected. My number is between Riot act and Pearl Jam. I have ordered a shirt and dvd's from 10c from the binaural time period but didn't renew until later. Basically my first xmas record is Someday at Christmas.

    Why does it matter?

Your number is what it is.
There is no point in trying to speculate where your seats are, and as long as your number is above 150,000, just know that there are a good number of active loyal fans ahead of you. Tis all friends.

Because why wouldnt someone want to have a better idea of where they are going to sit the day of the show. Sure you cant magically appear before people that signed up before you but that doesnt mean you cant want better information as to where you'll sit.

Even if you knew where you stood, you have no way of knowing how many people are going to a particular show or how the 10C tickets are allocated at that show.

Useless exercise IMHO and part of getting 10C tix is the element of surprise.

Presumably, my seats should be better than the last time. Thats about all you can hope for. And in my experience, I am always surprised how many members with very low numbers show up at any concert. Lots of them.

Good point- there will always be some element of surprise. Honestly I'm also just interested in seeing how many have left the club throughout the years.

Thousands have come and gone, thats really all there is to it.
I can appreciate the desire to know where your seats are, but in my experience, it really is difficult to predict. You pays your money and takes your chances. Just be glad you were able to get preferred seating to the best rock band on the planet

    the rest is just gravy

My no. is under 50,000 (joined in '93 and never lapsed). I would love to know how many numbers under 100,000 are still out there, and how many members are in 10C. It's like the best kept secret.
