Yes there are, unfortunately Kings Of Leon did a great job of creating one that just comes to mind immediately.
Not their fault that it got overplayed, though.

    I know, I'm just a biast bastard. :P

Kings of Leon - Use Somebody
Kings of Leon - Sex on Fire
    Nickeback - Gotta Be Somebody
    Shinedown - Second Chance
    That fucking Bleeding Love song
That repetitive Black Eyed Peas(I think) song

Honestly, I can hear the songs in my head, but I don't really know the titles or artists. Basically anything that's been top 40 this year and thus repeatedly driven into my head by the soft rock station that's been on repeat at my job all year.
    Thanks EPOTTSIII!

Shame that "Sex on Fire" has been relegated to this.

I liked it when I first heard it, but the radio did hammer the song in a little too much. Again, not the band's fault, but still.

(To be honest, I'm surprised the song did so well. Don't get me wrong, it's catchy, and I could see it doing well on rock radio, but it doesn't really scream "crossover hit".)

Totally agree on Sex on Fire too. I actually really enjoyed it when it first came out.

I don't know the band, but the song played constantly at my work. The chorus repeated, " fallin, fallin, fallin, fallin." It was horrific! Also mgmt was played to death on KNDD The End. :(
  • but i still like KOL (plenty, but not too much on our radios) i absolutely hate Lady Gaga and i think Britney has been on way too much this year.(more to come)

If you're referring to Phoenix's "1901," that song is awesome.

That damn 'fireflies' song by owl city. I didn't think it was possible for a band to sound gayer and more annoying than death cab for cutie but they managed to do it.

I hate all the r n'b, hip-hop and rap shit that comes from the States, sorry, 99% of them suck big balls imho. But Britney's songs sound far more annoying than Lady Gaga's however both were terribly overplayed.

But yeah, Use Somebody must be the most annoying pop rock hit of the year!
