What if 9/11 didn't happen..What would Post-Binaural albums sound like?

I was thinking about the time I met Eddie at the Casbah in San Diego 2 months before 9/11 happened. He was talking to me and my friends about how lame Bush was going to be as President.

It got me wondering about what Pearl Jam's albums would have been had 9/11 not happened.

What do you think?

i think they'd still be similar...considering Bush has done numerous things to label himself as a fucking idiot.

the lack of attention for Katrina is most notable, his goal of accomplishing his daddy's revenge, and further more the fact that he had this whole ordeal on Osama Bin Laden and later turns his attention to Saddam. It seems like people have literally forgotten about Osama...there is a laundry lists of bad moves "Dubya" has made

the entire Bush family is a fuckin' grade A failure.
I'm ashamed that he represents our country.

They're trying to progress as a band not go into regression ;)

Anyways, I don't think their music would have changed because as you can heard from Binaural, they were moving towards more a punk/political state anyways.

What would Ed be like today if Gore won in 2000? Id be willing to bet the band would have broken up years ago! George W gave Ed musical purpose.

I used to think of myself as a Republican, until Bush and many Republicans in Congress, totally made me feel ashamed to be a Republican. Now, I consider myself an Independent who is Pro-Choice, for limited government, against preferential treatment based on race/gender, against getting involved in foreign matters that aren't a National Security issue, etc.

If the American public was brighter, Ron Paul would be the GOP nominee right now.

We're screwed with any of the remaining candidates.

    fur sure!

some of the best songs are written with thoughts pure anger/angst and i'm sure some of the songs we got were fueled by that.

dark and bleak ain't necessarily that bad ;)
