    steamed dimsims with soy sauce...or fried eggs on toast.....nothing beats sleeping it off though..

    Really? You don't know? wow...that could be just a cultural thing I guess...but I thought dimsims were everywhere....anyway...originally Dimsims I think are Chinese....not quite sure what they have in them...probably don't want to know..but the ones I'm referring to are frozen...and they are small packages of an unknown type of meat and a few suggested bits of asian style vegies....they really don't have anything recognisable in them...someone else on here might be able to correct me...but they are wrapped in pastry of some sort, and when you steam them and add soy sauce on them....aarggh....delicious!!! Best thing EVER!!! Especially when you eat them in a buttered bread roll!! SOOOOO yummy lol!! but full of crap, so probably not something you'd want to analyse...you'd probably get scared off - when we were at school, we used to joke that they were made of cat or dog meat....so you get the idea....

    so that's what they're called! I've had those before. I think our chinese take out calls them steamed dumplings or something like that. maybe they do call them dimsims but we order them as dumplings and they always know what we're talking about. hubby and I aren't very culturally savy. yeah, those are good. the meat in ours is questionable, but still good. I think soy sauce and just plain steamed white sticky rice is good in general--maybe for a hangover too. ;)
