Eddie Vedder Shirt by Charles Peterson - What should I do?

I happened upon this store in Tokyo that was selling licensed Charles Peterson shirts... the front of the shirt has a CP photo and the back has a quote from CP about the photo. There were some with ev, some with kurt, etc.

I bought the ev shirt (in the photo he's riding a bus in Spain) and it cost me about US$100. It came in a lovely box. I haven't taken it out of the box since I got it home.

Now what? Should I?

A. Sell the shirt on eBay to recoup the costs of four pairs of ev tickets
B. Start wearing the shirt (maybe even to the ev shows? lame?)
C. Keep the shirt in the box for all eternity

    First things first. Take a pic so we can all see it! Then we can determine what is to be done with it. No harm in keeping it for all eternity though.

    Good plan - here is a link to the photos. I just took it out of the box to take the photo and realized how much I love it. I know wearing it will decrease the value... and it's a rare find. Thoughts?

    That's a tough one. The shirt is gorgeous. I def would NOT sell it. But I'm torn on whether or not you should wear it. I'm not really a collector of *things* that might become valuable later. If I buy it, I generally want to use/wear it. Good luck on your decision. :)

    Put it on ebay for $650.

    Prediction: You're going to remember the shirt and regret it if you sell.

    Advice: Take it out of the box and wear it proudly. That shouldn't sit in the dark somewhere.

    agreed, clothing is there for other people to make comment on, and you would be liked with that on.

    You're right, I would regret it if I sold it. I still think of the Vitalogy jacket that I won at an album release party and my first Ten Club long-sleeved shirt ... both I sold to help me pay the rent in NYC.

    However, I have a feeling that it's going to look like ev is riding my boob when I put it on.

    I think there was another thread debating wearing an aritists shirt to their show. I think that's the best place to wear it! :) Lots of folks disagree with me. Oh well ;)
