I currently planning my Pacific Northwest trip for the next year, Washington, Oregon, Northern California.. It would be great to combine even more great experiences: travelling, camping, hiking, surfing, nature, PEARL JAM! Open air
Otherwise: Berlin Wuhlheide again (not in May..)!
this is a relly good plan. Have fun.
Now, what about a US west coast tour in May (so I can get my PJ-fix when I´m there), then heading back to Germany sometime in late June to see them in Berlin at the 30th
What a masterplan. Unfortunately I don´t want to fix my time schedule 6months in advance, so I cannot buy 10c tickets yet...0 -
Freckles, I mean no offence in asking this, and am sincerely curious. As a European who knows that the band are coming to Europe, why come to the US shows at all? Between the expense of getting to and back from the States, and the fact that my understanding is that the energy at European PJ shows is through the roof in comparison to US shows, is it really worth it?Freckles wrote:Vicky_Arg wrote:Freckles wrote:The Gorge Amphitheatre in May would be f***ing great

I have been planning for about a year now to visit the US west coast and Central America next May/June after my studies. I didn´t even think about a PJ tour in 2010 when I started to plan it

To travel thousands of km and spend a huge amount of money just to see a rock concert? No, it´s not worth it.
But if PJ happens to play somewhere near my travel route, why not go there?
And as I was really impressed by the setting of the Gorge Amphitheatre when I looked up some pictures of it I would love to see them play there. But I wouldn´t fly over to the USA exclusively to see Pearl Jam. I usually do not leave Germany to see any concert - maybe because I don´t have to...0
