    This is only tenuously related to the thread, but I have a story about the T-shirt Ed wore at Auckland, & getting his attention.

    About 20 or 25 years ago, my dad went to Chicago, & he got a Chicago Bears football shirt (# 34) while he was there. It was passed down to me when I was big enough to fit into it, but I very rarely wore it. One time when I did, though, was at PJ's show in Dublin in 2006. I got a fair amount of Ed's attention that night, & came away with the cork from his wine bottle and the only intact (I think) tambourine after Fuckin' Up.

    Never thought it had anything to do with the shirt... until next time I saw them in Copenhagen - Ed takes off his shirt to reveal the same Chicago Bears football shirt as mine, same number & all!

    Wow, look at that sweet smile on Eddie's face! FINALLY seeing all the great moments unfold- amazing HD!
