my bad....by older and a bit more secure in life, I was referring to myself....not that I'm looking for older more secure men (which, in all honesty, thus far in some of my experiences, "older" and "more secure" do not necessarily go together....quite the opposite in a lot of cases). When I was younger, I kept the "dick in glass jar" friendships with guys just in case the relationship with the guy I was seeing didn't work out, just so I wouldn't be alone. Now that I am older and a bit more secure in my life, I don't want or need the emergency dick in a glass jar to save me from being alone.

I've said it on many a thread - I'd rather be alone than wish that I was. No one is perfect, least of all, me. But there is nothing worse than settling for someone with whom you're not compatible on the right things just because you don't want to be alone.

i used to get caught in that friend zone bullshit. now if things dont work out right away, i'm gone. i got enough friends.

Don't forget that alot of women feel the same way, about EVERYTHING!
