you didn't miss much. they were largely shit, but i thought.. AT LEAST.. we might get to see a snippet of the nz shows. but nothing. nada. zilch. zip. etc.

plus i wanna see a pic of the banner so bad. i know the official photog types milling about at the front were taking photos of it because i saw them... but no sign of it in the official pj pics.

I think you can kind of make yourself forget how good the live experience is. You hadn't seen them since 98, right? I hadn't seen them for 8.5 years when I went to Oz in 06 and I coped, same with the 3 years since, but at the moment the idea of waiting at least another 3 more years is almost too much to bear (melodramatic, much?). I think I'm still on a bit of a high from the weekend, but I can feel the darkness approaching...
